The Bomb Project (c.2002), a comprehensive compendium of nuclear-related links, is the culmination of image research Garnett initially conducted for a series of paintings of Cold War era U.S. nuclear tests. The website first went live in Spring 2000 and was intended as a resource for artists working in all media. It includes links to still and moving declassified imagery, government documents and treaties, political opinions, and a news feed. By acting as a hub for news, declassified files, films, and graphic documentation produced by the nuclear industry itself, The Bomb Project provides a context for study, analysis, creative responses and interventions.
